Horyniec-Zdrój will have a modern wastewater treatment plant!

On 3 March of this year, a contract for the construction of a MBR wastewater treatment plant in the "design and build" system was signed at the Horyniec-Zdrój Municipality Office. The value of the investment is PLN 11 299 thousand, of which PLN 8 835 thousand is financed by subsidy from the first edition of the pilot Strategic Investments Program - the Government Fund of the Polish Order.
The task includes the preparation of complete design documentation and the construction of a mechanical and biological sewage treatment plant with a nominal capacity of 828 m3 / day and 5178 PE, as well as the removal of the existing treatment plant facilities.
The goals of the investment are:
- compliance with ecological standards of Polish and European Union legislation in the field of wastewater treatment,
- improving the sanitary and health conditions of the inhabitants of the Poręba Municipality,
- organizing sewage management,
- improvement of the environmental situation and protection of surface watercourses,
- minimizing the burdensome to the environment.
Realization time for this task is two years.
