Conference on hydrothermal carbonization HTC as Schwander Polska®

Last Thursday (16.05.2024), a conference on HTC hydrothermal carbonization and the potential for widespread use of the hydrochar produced by this innovative process was held at Schwander Polska®. The meeting also included a demonstration of the HTC pilot plant, which was met with great interest of the guests.
The conference was attended, among others, by Mr Adam Jarubas, MEP, local government officials, Professor Ewa Neczaj and Professor Anna Grosser form the Częstochowa University of Technology, a delegation form Turkey – including Mr Hasan Ayan (Enerji Ltd.) and Mr Sadik Yamac (Chairman of UDAT Inc. and Cypoint A.S) and our business partner Marc Buttmann, owner of TerraNova Energy GmbH®, a pioneer in the field of HTC technology.
The conference addressed the potential of HTC technology in both environmental and economic terms. Various possibilities for the use of hydrochar were discussed, such as biofuel, fertilizer or pollution absorption material.

We believe that this meeting will open new perspectives for the development of innovative technologies, such as HTC, that contribute to sustainable development and environmental protection.
