HTC - biocarbon as a fertiliser or soild biofuel

We are pleased to announce that, on the basis of a specialist expert report carried out by the company Mikrobiotech for Schwander Polska, it is concluded that HTC biocarbon:
- meets the requirements for use as a fertiliser product
- shows characteristics which make it a relatively valuable solid biofuel
In addition, ‘ (...) with regard to the effluent produced during the HTC biocarbon dehydration process, it is concluded that (similarly to biocarbon) it meets the requirements for use as a fertiliser product - an organic or organic-mineral soil conditioner or fertiliser and would be eligible for a decision of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development allowing it to be placed on the market.
In light of the above, the HTC technology should be identified as a valuable tool to process municipal sewage sludge into valuable fertiliser products or energy carriers.’
