We are pleased to have concluded the final conference titled “Water Recycling – Time for a Paradigm Shift”, marking the culmination of the EU-funded ReNutriWater project (Interreg Baltic Sea Region). The event took place in Warsaw on 10 December 2025.
It was a day filled with strong arguments, practical takeaways from pilot implementations, and discussions on how to “close the loop” of local water cycles.
The speakers included representatives of academia and industry, as well as project partners, who presented the results of their pilot work and the tools supporting successful implementation.
Between 2023 and 2025, as part of a consortium of 14 partners from five countries in the Baltic Sea Region, Schwander Polska worked on the safe recovery and reuse of water (and biogenic nutrients) from wastewater—so that wastewater treatment plants can become a real source of resources for cities and local communities.
The project delivered tangible outcomes: pilots, knowledge, solutions, and collaboration worth continuing. This was our shared success—both in terms of content and partnership.
A huge thank you to the Organisers and the entire project team ?
Special thanks to the Project Leader, Dr Eng. Klara Ramm, for her vision, consistency, and the tremendous effort invested in the ReNutriWater activities ?
Schwander Polska would like to thank you for your trust and energy, and for making it possible to combine science, practical implementation, and international cooperation into one functioning “cycle”!
See you in future initiatives—water recycling is only just gaining momentum ?
