A modern wastewater treatment plant will be built in Kunów in the Ostrowiec poviat. The investment worth about PLN 16 million will be co-financed from the Regional Operational Programme.

In October 2016, local news website posted a relation from the meeting  between local government representatives from Chełmiec, delegates of local government units from Finland, representatives of Swedish and Polish scientific societies and representatives of Aquazone, Alfa Laval Nordic and Schwander Polska®. The company headquartered in Nowy Sącz is a leading contractor for delivery of wastewater treatment plant based on innovative MBR (Membrane Biological Reactor) technology.

In Gazeta Nowosądecka, published on the 29th of January 2016 as a supplement to Gazeta Krakowska, an article about Schwander Polska®, the world leader in wastewater treatment based on membrane technology, was released. 

An article was published on the website of Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment. It concerns the construction of wastewater treatment plant in Godów and modernisation of wastewater treatment technology in Pawłów and Tarczek realized by Schwander Polska® company with the use of pioneer MBR technology and ultramodern optimizing solutions (RTC) manufactured by Hach Lange.

Bimonthly magazine aimed at users of water and sewage treatment facilities, design teams, public administration units and academic societies “Forum Eksploratora”, no. 3/2-15 (78) featured an extensive overview on membrane filtration modules manufactured by Alfa Laval, which have been used since 2013 by Schwander Polska®, the leading company of MBR technology in wastewater treatment.
