World leader in wastewater treatment based on membrane technology

SCHWANDER POLSKA® was founded 11 years ago.  SCHWANDER POLSKA® is the world leader in design and construction of wastewater treatment plants based on MBR technology. The highly qualified team of specialists at Schwander Polska® offers broad experience in the field of designing and executing projects of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, including biological treatment of water. We actively cooperate with technical universities, such as Silesian University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology, Cracow University of Technology and Research & Development departments of our strategic partners, Alfa Laval and Hach®.
 
Over the last 3 years we have implemented innovative systems based on membrane ultrafiltration in wastewater treatment of surface waters in order to utilise them as drinking water. 
 
Our strategic partners are: Alva Laval from Sweden (www.alfalaval.pl) and Hach® (www.hach.pl).
 
We were first company to implement innovative method of biogenic compounds removal in wastewater treatment plants based on MBR technology. The method is based on real-time nitrification-denitrification system (NDN – RTC).

Our Company focuses on designing concept solutions, preparing design documentation, as well as any documents required for obtaining construction permit. We specialise at providing “turnkey” solutions with environmental effect. Technological solutions have been developed by our team of specialists. A typical example of the implementation of our exclusive technology is municipal wastewater treatment plant in Chełmiec. In 2014 and 2015 we designed and executed 4 wastewater treatment plants using the most advanced technology and next three wastewater treatment plants are being designed. 
 
We have been the first company in the world which constructed wastewater treatment plants with integrated NDN-RTC system. 
 
The Company has designed and executed fully automatic wastewater treatment plants, which do not require permanent human supervision. Wastewater treatment plant may be remotely controlled with any web-enabled device. Wastewater treatment plants are fully deodorised, hermetic, compact and harmoniously integrated into the landscape, without the necessity to create prohibited zones. 

Our projects are finalised in Poland, Slovakia and on legally protected areas such as national parks or Natura 2000 sites, like: wastewater treatment plant in Raczki by the Rospuda River, wastewater treatment plant for commune office of Leoncin – Kampinos Forest or currently designed wastewater treatment plant located at the very heart of Bieszczady National Park.
  
Schwander Polska® has also received an offer of engineering and executing projects of wastewater treatment plants based on MBR technology for our Eastern neighbours. 

We take part in international environment al trade fairs, such as POLEKO or Wod-Kan. Schwander Polska® focuses on finding new ways of cooperation with local government units, universities, research teams and students.

We are Authorized Distributors of Alfa Laval, which makes us eligible to employ sales and promotion measures when it comes to Membrane Filtration Modules MBR.   

Each year we organise a conference and a meeting of local government representatives with the users of wastewater treatment plant in Rytro.  Our company, being an undisputed leader in the market of MBR technology in 2015, finalised the most MBR wastewater treatment plants. 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 



In this year we started the construction of European Centre of Membrane Technology in Podegrodzie. We initiated long-term research projects aiming at optimisation of wastewater treatment as well as effective removal of biogenic compounds.
