Cooperation with the Cracow University of Technology

On 13 November 2018, Schwander Polska entered into a Cooperation Agreement with the Cracow University of Technology. The subject of the agreement is research and development work carried out at the MBR wastewater treatment plant. The scope of the research includes the following stages:

  1. Identification of technological processes occurring in the reactors, including the determination of changes in key operational indicators.
  2. Determination of the growth and properties of activated sludge (microbiological analyses).
  3. Assessment of the energy consumption of the process.
  4. Development of technological guidelines for the design of MBR reactors.
  5. Development of guidelines for the optimisation of control and automation systems in MBR reactors.

Cooperation with the University of Agriculture in Kraków

The cooperation established in 2022 between Schwander Polska and the University of Agriculture in Kraków aims to:

  1. Undertake activities supporting the development of innovative wastewater treatment methods.
  2. Conduct research related to wastewater treatment processes.
  3. Perform physico chemical and microbiological analyses of wastewater and sewage sludge.
  4. Collaborate in the field of hydrothermal carbonisation processes.

Cooperation with the Częstochowa University of Technology

In 2023, Schwander Polska also initiated scientific and research cooperation with the Częstochowa University of Technology, including work on the application of various advanced oxidation processes for the removal of pharmaceuticals from wastewater.
