Completion of the water treatment plant modernization in Wola Dębińska

On 16 May 2022, the solemn acceptance of the modernized sewage treatment plant in Wola Dębińska took place.
The contract for the implementation of the task was signed by Schwander Polska with the Commune of Dębno on 4 January of this year. The modernization of the facility was aimed at restoring the capacity of 240 m3 / day of the ineffective part of the sewage treatment plant. As a result of the undertaken actions it was possible to achieve a throughput of 520 m3 / day.
The implementation of the task by Schwander Polska ultimately allowed the Dębno Municipality to achieve the following goals:
- meeting the requirements resulting from legal regulations in the field of wastewater treatment,
- improving the sanitary and health conditions of the inhabitants of the Municipality,
- organizing sewage management,
- improvement of the condition of the environment and protection of surface watercourses,
- minimizing the nuisance to the environment.
The total value of the investment task was PLN 1,297 thousand and the time for accomplishing the task was four months.
During the final construction acceptance, the Investor was represented by the Mayor of the Dębno Municipality, Mr. Wiesław Kozłowski, and the Contractor was represented by the President of Schwander Polska, Mr. Stanisław Malinowski. The acceptance was also attended by Ms Józefa Szczurek-Żelazko - Member of Parliament of the Republic of Poland as well as employees of the Dębno Municipality Office, Dębno Municipality Services Department and Schwander Polska.
