First races of this year’s motorcycle racing season

On 26-27 May 2017, first rounds of Polish Motorcycle Racing Championships and prestigious Alpe Adria race were held. 137 best sportsmen from 13 European countries participated in the first round of championships. It is worth mentioning, that the inaugural races of the season were held in Poznań for the first time after two year break.
Alpe Adria Motorcycle Union were founded in year 1981. At first it focused primarily on motocross races, but soon other disciplines of moto sport were organised. Road racing is most successful discipline in AAMU with average of more than 500 riders per season and history of 20 years of competition. Paweł Górka, supported by Schwander Polska, won 7th and 9th place in the first round in Alpe Adria Road Race Championships and 4th and 5th place in the first round of Polish Motorcycle Racing Championships.
Second round of Alpe Adria, as well as Polish Motorcycle Racing Championships will take place on the 22-25 June 2017 at Slovakiaring.
