Project of the hydrotermal carbonization installation for the Municipality of Solina

On 5 August of this year, an important event took place. At the seat of the Solina Municipality - in Polańczyk, a contract was signed for the design work of the hydrothermal carbonization installation to be made at the sewage treatment plant in Berezka.
The designed HTC hydrothermal carbonization installation will enable the processing of organic fractions into the form of biochar or HTC coal. It will allow to transform sewage sludge into a valuable raw material that can be used not only in agriculture (biochar) but can also be a valuable energy resource (HTC coal).Schwander Polska has eight months to prepare a construction project. After obtaining the building permit, the Solina Municipality will proceed to the next stage - selecting the Contractor for this investment.
The latest technological solutions, used in the HTC hydrothermal carbonization installation designed by Schwander Polska, will allow for the closure of the treatment cycle and the use of organic waste (sewage sludge) produced at the Berezka treatment plant. What is more, the installation will ensure the recovery of mineral compounds and their reuse in plant cultivation and soil recultivation.
