Purchase of an ambulance for Ukraine and raising funds

Schwander Polska has used its own resources to purchased one ambulance to save lives in Ukraine. We encourage people of good will to join the collection of funds for another one - details below.
On 9 March of this year, Schwander Polska actively joined in helping the people of Ukraine. The Company's contribution to this matter is constantly developing and takes newer and newer forms. Schwander Polska does not stop at the already achieved goals. The next step is to buy an emergency ambulance and make an effort to organize a fundraiser for the purchase of another ambulance or for the purchase of medical supplies. In order to achieve this goals, Schwander Polska has established cooperation with the Volunteer Fire Department in Stadła.
Why ambulances? The answer is simple - it is the answer to the message from the General Director of the Municipal Clinical Hospital in Dnipro, quote:
"We turn to you, as our good partner and friend, with a request to provide us humanitarian aid in form of an ambulance, which we are currently in great need of."
The Company's involvement in helping the inhabitants of Ukraine was an impuls for another initiative - to organize a fundraiser. Schwander Polska and TSO Stadła intend to use the collected funds for the purchase of another ambulance, which is necessary to save human lives, or for the medical supplies. The purchase of another vehicle will depend on the generosity of all of us – Poles, the kindness of our hearts and sensitivity to pain and human misfortune.

We would like to remind you that the applicable regulations allow for the deduction of certain donations made both in cash and in kind. This applies, i. a., to donations for public benefit activities. Such activities are carried out by non-governmental organizations (NGOs), which are both Public Benefit Organizations (OPP), as well as foundations and associations that do not have such status - including the Volunteer Fire Department in Stadła. The tax preference applies to donations made to such organizations operating in the EU and EEA.
